Hey everyone!
It's transfers this week, and I'm moving to a town called Newcastle-under-Lyme! I guess theres 2 Newcastles in England, but this one is just the lesser known one. But I'm gonna be with Elder Newell which I'm super excited about! I trained him so itll definitely be fun serving with him again haha
I'm definitely gonna miss serving in Burnley, all the members here are amazing! And moving right before christmas will be hard as well, I'm sure the Newcastle ward will be amazing though!
This past week I hit my 508 day mark! It might not seem like too special of a day, but it's also my 254th day in quarantine. So that marks half of my mission being in quarantine, pretty crazy! 254 days not being able to talk to people on the street or knock doors, definitely not what I expected when I came out but its proven to be such a huge blessing in disguise! The work is accelerating in big ways
Also this past week was thanksgiving! It was Elder sewells first thanksgiving since hes from the UK! We went all out haha, we got a whole chicken (I know it's not a Turkey but I'm not about forking out £10 for a turkey), had mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, veggies and whatnot. And yorkshire puddings of course cause we're in England. It's kinda a shame we still cant go to members homes cause theres a couple members here who've lived in America before so they would've had us over for thanksgiving :( But we did the best with what we had!
Anyway just a reminder to #lighttheworld this year! The earth needs it!
