Hey y'all
Not a super exciting week but heres some things
-The government extended the lockdown for 3 more weeks so we're all stuck inside for a longer period of time. I think even when they take off the lockdown its gonna be a while before we get back to normal missionary work. We probably will still have to videochat with friends, and wont be allowed to find in person. But we'll at least be able to walk around! Or go to the church! So I hope that in 3 weeks it improves! Especially so that all the people on date for baptism in our mission can get baptized!
-We got Facebook. All the missionaries in Europe were asked to download it. I honestly have no idea how to use it but now we have it so that's exciting haha
-I had to dust off my proselyting shoes haha. It's been over 3 weeks since I've worn them which I'm not complaining about cause dress shoes aren't super comfy haha
-My mission president sent out a picture to our mission this past week. Basically it has a picture of 3 boats from the scriptures: The Jaredites (344+ days), Noah (287+ days), and Nephi (“many days”). And then it had as a caption Ether 6:9, “And they did sing praises unto the Lord; yea, the brother of Jared did sing praises unto the Lord, and he did thank and praise the Lord all the day long; and when the night came, they did not cease to praise the Lord.” I think the past couple weeks have been a little hard to stay focused and motivated to keep going. But it's so humbling to even think about what they must have experienced. Staying in a nice flat in Manchester pales in comparison to what the Jaredites must have experienced. It just makes me grateful that I still have this opportunity to keep serving the Lord. And I hope to get back on the streets talking to everyone soon!
