Hey all!
Not a super special week. Just a lot of the same old stuff. Videochatting with friends, lots of phone contacting, constant snacking on literally anything and everything, general conference, and some miracles!
Miracle 1: Time for phone contacting! I had no idea how much phone contacting needed to be done. We have over 1600 contacts in our phone, which we are starting to go through and call. But it's been so amazing to see how many people are actually interested in learning about the Gospel at this time. I guess they don't have anything better to do haha. People have basically 2 reactions when we call them. The first is a quick rejection. And the 2nd is basically them being super excited and wanting to meet with us. Theres not really many in between for some reason haha. So in all our free time (which actually isn't that much cause we're always busy teaching), we're cold calling people :) Sooo fun!
Miracle 2: Ever since I came into the field, I remember my trainer trying to get in contact with this less active member who hadn't been to church in a while. He would call or text him every once in a while. But with no answers. Well literally out of nowhere he called us this past week! And now he's coming back to church! It might've taken over 7 months, but I finally got to meet him! So amazing!
Miracle 3: General conference!! The new temple announced in Shanghai seriously made me soooo happy. I just keep thinking about all the lives it's gonna bless. I also keep thinking about all the chinese members here in manchester who have gone back to China, or plan on it, and what that means to them. Now we just need to get some missionaries there! :)
