大家好啊！
Another interesting week in the England Manchester mission haha. Im sure yall have heard but every mission is sending their missionaries home, except for in Taiwan and in Europe. So I feel very blessed to still be here! Also Prince Charles and the Prime Minister have the Coronavirus if you haven't heard haha. Anyway heres some stuff from this week:
Monday: Monday Night, the Prime Minister put the whole country on lockdown. We can now only leave the flat once a day for exercise, shopping (buying food only, all other shops are closed down), and going to the hospital. So that's pretty fun! Theres a whole list of things we cant do (baptisms, meeting with people out of our household, etc.) which is kinda sad but we're just focusing on things we can control right now. Weve been cramped in our flat all day everyday but I feel so blessed because we're actually sooo busy everyday teaching lessons! Also we have a balcony (it might only be like 5 square feet but I'll take what I can get) so I spend like all my time freezing out there in the England weather haha. Gotta do what you can for fresh air :)
Some more highlights:
-Teaching the Chinese institute class (sooo fun)
-Amazing members!
-So many lessons everyday over video chat
-2 come follow me lessons on sunday
-We're starting to send videos of Jesus to every single person in our contacts(we have like 1500 contacts). Weve gotten so many good responses so I'm excited to see how it continues to go!
-Sophia had ASDA send us soooo many groceries. Such a lifesaver. Pics included
This past week weve been meeting with some of the members from the YSA ward over videochat and sharing the message of the restoration with them, to help them prepare for general conference. With most of them, we've read the talk “Are you sleeping through the Restoration?” by Elder Uchtdorf (such a good talk, go check it out). But I'm seriously so excited for general conference this coming weekend. I'm sure its gonna be amazing! So excited for this week!
