Hey yall
Not much this week, just a couple goodbyes. I think like 25 missionaries went home this week, one of them being Elder Chen. And we have no new missionaries so our mission is pretty small now haha. It was so weird to say goodbye to him, we served together for 3 transfers but it didnt feel that long at all. I'm also no longer in a trio for the first time since February which has definitely been new as well, it always feels like we're missing someone haha
President & Sister McReynolds also went home this week. Their going home was postponed by a month, so they went home last thursday instead of in June. It was definitely sad to see them go, they've been the best. We had a really spiritual mission devotional over zoom last week where they basically gave us a ton of advice. We now have an interim mission president - President Turvey - until our new mission president (President Johnson) gets his visa and is able to come to England. So that'll be fun, they seem really nice. But if things work out theyll only be serving here for another week or two, because President Johnson should be getting his visa in a week or two
Also this past week we had another spike in covid cases in the Manchester area. So the government put more lockdown restrictions for people living in manchester, which, luckily, is where I live. It's not super serious or anything yet, but it's a little scary because the uni's are starting up again in about a month or two, so hopefully things will be a little better by then. We definitely wont be street contacting anytime soon which will be sad with all the uni students here
